1. Risks & Safety Information

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a non-invasive wellness treatment. You should feel comfortable at all times during your session. If you experience any discomfort, notify the technician immediately.

  • The most common side effect is pressure changes affecting the ears.
  • Our technician will guide you through equalisation techniques (such as the Valsalva manoeuvre).
  • Please report any ear discomfort or pain immediately.

1.2 Sinus

  • Sinus discomfort is rare but may occur due to pressure changes, particularly if sinuses are blocked.
  • Inform the technician immediately if you experience pain or discomfort.

Some mild or temporary symptoms may occur, including:
  • Nausea
  • Temporary vision changes
  • Tingling sensations or facial twitching
